Collective Agreement Bctf

The Board of Education for School District #33 (SD 33) and BCPSEA (BCPSEA) have entered into the following agreements with the Chilliwack Teachers` Association (CTA) and the British Columbia Teachers` Federation (BCTF): the agreement was coordinated online over a three-day period, with current events prohibiting teachers from meeting in local schools or district offices. BCPSEA leads the three phases of collective bargaining between the teacher and the public school (school district) – preparation, negotiation and implementation/administration. In a press release, the government of the bc stated that members of the BCPSEA (BCPSEA) and the BC Teachers` Federation (BCTF) have ratified an agreement under the government`s negotiating mandate for sustainable services. After the vote, the new collective agreement was adopted by teachers by a margin of 98 per cent. Currently, approximately 300,000 public sector employees – 90% – are covered by preliminary or ratified agreements concluded as part of B.C`s mandate to negotiate sustainable services. The collective agreement between the British Columbia Teachers` Federation (BCTF), which represents public school teachers in the province, and BCPSEA (BCPSEA), which represents the 60 public teaching bodies, expired on June 30, 2019.
